Supporting Transitioning Service Members: Welcoming SkillBridge Participant Noah Black

At Infinite Energy, supporting transitioning service members is a responsibility we take seriously. Through the Department of War SkillBridge program, we continue to invest in individuals who bring proven leadership, discipline, and mission-focused experience into the next phase of their careers. We are proud to welcome Noah Black, who is currently completing his SkillBridge internship through the United States Marine Corps.

Noah’s decision to join the Marine Corps was driven by a desire to see different parts of the world, connect with new people, and build confidence within himself. That motivation led to a career defined by teamwork, accountability, and performance in high-tempo environments.

During his time in the Marine Corps, Noah served as a 6531 Aviation Ordnance Technician, where he led and managed teams responsible for supporting flight operations and maintaining mission readiness. His role included supervising the loading and handling of ordnance on fixed-wing aircraft such as the F/A-18C/D and F-35B, managing maintenance workloads, and ensuring all equipment remained safe, operational, and mission-ready. Whether supporting active flight operations or conducting maintenance and inspections, Noah’s day-to-day work required precision, coordination, and a strong commitment to safety—skills that directly translate into the construction environment.

Reflecting on his time in service, Noah shared that the most impactful experiences came from assignments where conditions did not go as planned and required rapid problem-solving to keep the mission on track. Operating under tight timelines and high-pressure conditions reinforced the importance of adaptability, critical thinking, and trusting a well-trained team. Those experiences continue to shape how he approaches challenges today and guide the mindset he brings into the construction industry.

Charleston holds special meaning for Noah. While previously stationed at MCAS Beaufort, he spent time in the area and quickly developed a connection to the community. That connection ultimately influenced his decision to pursue SkillBridge opportunities in the Charleston region as he prepared for transition from active duty.

Noah’s interest in construction began even before his military service, when he planned to pursue a degree in Construction Management. As he approached the final year of active duty, he began researching SkillBridge programs aligned with that goal and discovered the DCC SkillBridge Program. After connecting with Perry Morlando and meeting members of the team in October 2025, Noah knew he had found the right fit. He shared that from the beginning, he felt welcomed as part of the team and appreciated the opportunity to learn and grow within an environment that values development and mentorship.

While his background is rooted in aviation ordnance, Noah is focused on applying the leadership, discipline, and operational skills developed in the Marine Corps to the construction industry. During his time with Infinite Energy, he is working to build a comprehensive understanding of construction management while contributing meaningfully to project teams and becoming a reliable asset across all phases of a project.

Looking ahead, Noah plans to continue expanding his knowledge of the construction field while pursuing a degree in construction management. Over the next three to five years, his goal is to work as a superintendent in the Charleston area and steadily progress toward a project management role. His commitment to continuous growth and mission-focused work reflects the same drive that defined his military service.

Infinite Energy is honored to support Noah during this transition and remains committed to providing meaningful opportunities for service members through the SkillBridge program. We look forward to the impact he will make and are proud to be part of his continued professional journey.
