Electrical Upgrade

New transformer installation completed to support upgraded electrical service for Buildings 76 and 80.
This project involved comprehensive electrical infrastructure upgrades to Buildings 76 and 80, including demolition of existing power distribution systems and installation of new primary and secondary electrical service. The work included removal of outdated feeders, transformers, and panels, followed by installation of new feeders, transformer replacement, and upgraded distribution panels to support future facility needs. Interior and exterior lighting systems were also modernized with high-efficiency LED fixtures, along with the addition of new receptacles, switches, and controls to improve functionality and usability. In addition to electrical upgrades, the project included full site coordination and preparation, such as utility locates, permitting, erosion control, and site clearing. The team coordinated with the local utility provider for reconnection and ensured all work met applicable standards. Final activities included testing, as-built documentation, site restoration, and cleanup to return the area to pre-construction conditions while maintaining safety and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
